Nigeria: On removal of oil subsidy and revolution

The removal of fuel subsidy by the Nigerian government under the Goodluck Jonathan's administration seems to have gathered the clouds for a revolution. The labour and trade unions are battle-ready for tomorrow's nationwide indefinite strike. Like the Arab springs, there is the hope of Nigerians taking their destinies into their hands for a better nation where leadership provides a people-oriented services. Let us watch the turn of events as the strike begins in less than twenty-four hour's time. Time is a big factor in all of these events. And who wins: government or the masses?
