On the Death of Ekwulumili Six Siblings

The death of Ekwulumili Six Siblings has shown the mystery of life -- that six siblings could die in one day. It leaves much conversation on the nature of such death. The law enforcement agencies and community leaders should liaise in a synergy to get at the roots of such death. One of the ways to arrive at such collaboration is by having autopsy report from medical authorities and also convening a body of inquiry into remote and proximate factors leading to the so-called meals that brought about the death of these six siblings. Conspiracy theory at this time is like putting the cart before the horse. If adequate inquiry was made, great opportunities beckon on having reliable, factual and truthful results. Again, a pastoral approach to the situation is a valid means to helping the parents of these deceased six children. The death of Ekwulumili Six Siblings is a national disaster and the government of the day should see is so by all the deserved attention. Our hearts and prayers go out to the parents of the deceased children whose lives were cut short by such untimely death. May they rest in peace, Amen.

On Ekwulumili and Leadership

Leadership is a spiritual vocation and it is not dependent upon what one has done or not done. Ekwulumili (EKM) major problem is assumption of leadership position based on economic or political resources. Leadership ought to emanate from popular acclamation gleaned from quality of character tested by ethics and values. The love of EKM begins with being proud of EKM, being available to EKM and sowing seeds of love and altruism in EKM. Everybody needs a soul searching for finding ways to move EKM forward especially strengthening cultural, constitutional and political beacons of our land. Again, prayer and good works will salvage EKM and present it as a town everyone will be proud of and work for its total transformation. I love and pray for EKM.
