Late Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu: A Tribute
I join Igbo people, Nigerians and the rest of humanity in mourning the death of the former Biafran Head of State, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu. He sacrificed convenience and comfort in order to save his people from ethnic cleansing master-minded by some Nigerian authorities in the 1960s. Ojukwu stood for justice, patriotism, equity, and good governance. Because of his altruistic services to his people and Nigeria, he was bestowed with great titles of Ezedioramma Ndigbo, Ikemba Nnewi, Ezeigbo Gburugburu, Amumanaegbeigwe. As the great leader passed on, let us keep his legacies and remember him in prayer. May His Excellency Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu rest in peace! Ezeigbo Gburugburu, jee nke oma!! Ikemba Nnewi, ka e mesia!!!
